Who We Are
a century of adventure
100 years ago Skipper Robinson founded Camp Cherry Valley with the dream of providing a Scouting experience, an adventure, unlike anything you could get on the mainland. We proudly carry on that dream 99 years later. As we march toward our 100-year anniversary, we invite you to be a part of that same dream. Here’s to the next 100 years!
Our Mission
The slogan for our staff is “Where we make a difference.” To us, however, it’s not just a slogan, its our mission. Since
1923 we have made a positive difference in the thousands of youth who have attended our camp, many returning as staff.
The unique location of our camp provides the opportunity for a life-changing experience and memory they will cherish forĀ a lifetime,

Extraordinary Experiences
Since 1921, Camp Cherry Valley has provided a life-changing experience to over one-million youth. Located on
Santa Catalina Island, Cherry Cove is renowned for its calm, crystal clear waters teeming with marine wildlife. The
camp’s beautiful protective cove and sandy beach provide an unparalleled aquatic adventure for your Scouts and
Units.
Our Core Values
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courtesy, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
