Help Greater Los Angeles Summer Camp Return to Catalina Island
For over 100 years, Camp Cherry Valley has been a place where Scouts build leadership skills, connect with nature, and create lifelong memories. Thanks to a generous commitment from the Pacific Treasure Foundation, significant restoration of the camp’s infrastructure is already underway. But to be ready to reopen and offer life-changing summer programs to as many Scouts as possible, we will still need your help.
What Needs Funding
Your gift will help us complete the final steps toward reopening, including:
- Transportation to and from Catalina, and staff housing
- Training and hiring our beloved camp staff
- Camperships to ensure Scouts of all backgrounds can attend
Why This Partnership Matters
The Pacific Treasure Foundation in Camp Cherry Valley is incredible and has fueled the restoration and improvement of this historic camp that will provide an elevated camp experience with all new tents, beds, mattresses, structures and equipment. Your support fuels program readiness, equity, and daily experiences for Scouts at camp.
