Highlander in training Program

The Highlander in Training program is a Counselor in Training program specific to Camp Cherry Valley. It is for those youths who are ready to join the 100 year tradition of staff excellence at the most unique camp in the country. There is no better place to build friendships and develop skills that will last a lifetime. The program is for 14-17 year olds and lasts three weeks. 

The slogan for our staff is “Where we make a difference.” To us, however, it’s not just a slogan, it’s our mission. Since 1923 we have made a positive difference in the thousands of youth who have attended our camp, many returning as staff. The unique location of our camp provides the opportunity for a life-changing experience and memory they will cherish for a lifetime.
